I finally watched the finale of Elementary. I want to rewatch the last parts but the stupid cbs player doesn’t have seeking.

I super prefer this Irene Adler over the movie dead-like-fifteen-minutes-in version or the BBC’s naked lesbian version. Was it a deliberate reference in the crowded restaurant to the movie?

It is super hot in my room and I spent half the hour-and-a-half episode cuddling with Dino in bed.

Certain songs always end up reminding me of other songs and “No Myth” by Michael Penn always ends up making me want to listen to this too

1,200 Harvard Students Demand Investigation Into Jason Richwine’s Thesis On Hispanic IQ

msleahhbic:

Now Harvard students want to know how a thesis built on those views and assumptions was able to make it through the approval process in the first place. “Academic freedom and a reasoned debate are essential to our academic community,’’ the petition read. “However, the Harvard Kennedy School cannot ethically stand behind academic work advocating a national policy of exclusion and advancing an agenda of discrimination.”

Anti-Violence Project: Friday Community Safety Nights Through Pride Month

In response to the horrific homicide of a gay man on Friday, May 17th, and the recent spate of other public anti-LGBTQ hate violence, „,

After we join together to march and speak out on Monday, AVP will continue to work to create safety in all communities across New York City through our Friday Community Safety Nights that will begin on this Friday, May 24th.  Every Friday night from May 24th through the end of June, AVP will be out on the streets doing outreach in neighborhoods affected by anti-LGBTQ violence to raise awareness and provide people with information and safety tips.  We will be bringing community members together to talk about what we can do to address and prevent this violence – and you can help!  We will need dedicated volunteers and concerned community members to get out there and join us as we bring our message of safety to the streets.
